Survey Technician Apprenticeship

Surveyors, also referred to as Technical Engineers, play an essential role in various projects such as utility lines, roads, buildings, mining, and pipelines. They use advanced tools such as hand-held computers, lasers, and satellites to make precise measurements and keep accurate records for legal purposes.

Survey Technician Apprentice

4,000 hour apprenticeship (3-4 years)

Plus receive ongoing career development, health benefits, and pension.

Journeyman Scale is 40 - $51 per hour

Dependent on the collective bargaining agreement for the particular segment of the construction industry.

Program Information

First-year apprentices receive a curriculum that provides trainees with the study materials that enable them to perform the entry-level tasks associated with this trade. Including comprehensive training in mathematics, the principles of measurement, technical foundation skills, and preparation for OJT. Applicants must have an existing strong background in math skills.

Additional safety courses will be provided to prepare you for your new career!

As a first-year apprentice, OJT wage starts at $25 - $33 per hour and includes additional contributions to health care, retirement pension, and ongoing career development training.

​

Journeyman scale is $40- $51/hr + Benefits.
