The Alaska Teamsters have significant work in place for the Freight Transport industry in the 𝘼𝙣𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙜𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙁𝙖𝙞𝙧𝙗𝙖𝙣𝙠𝙨 𝙋𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙃𝙞𝙧𝙚 geographical areas. Freight Transport Drivers work locally including LTL freight and local container delivery supplying the state of Alaska 90% of its consumable goods. We supply grocery stores, retails stores and building materials that support Alaska's economy.

2,000 hour apprenticeship (2 years)

Journeyman Scale is $32-$35 per hour
